Cool Displays

Bellbuckle store window

I found some of these on the web ( sorry I didn't note where I got them. Stupid of me. Some very talented and fun people came up with these) and some in a Bellbuckle store display. I just think they are really cool easy to do things I may try next Halloween.

MONSTER ARE AFRAID OF US!

Why because we eat them!

These are my "monster" no-bake cookies with red hots for eye and black gel pupils.

2 cups sugar
1/2 baking cocoa
1/2 milk
1/4 cup butter (half of a stick)
1/4 teaspoon salt

Put all ingredient in a sauce pan on the stove top. Bring these to a boil stirring. Let boil 1 minute only. Take off heat and add

1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 peanut butter

Stir till peanut butter is mustly melted in to mixture. Add

3 cups of quick oats and stir till oats are covered. Drop by teaspoonfuls on parchment or wax paper (add eyes as you drop them) let cool. Will be solid in 5 to 10 minutes.

ENJOY!

Do Dish Pan Hands Pass For Monster Hands?

I bet my breakfast nook is scarier than yours....

I really do LOVE my creep spider Halloween gobbets , flutes and shot glasses... not to mention my BLEEDING SKULL punch bowl, & all the trays serving bowls etc... I mean who wouldn't? (well if they were a Halloween freak like me). BUT one BIG draw back is nothing can go in the dishwasher. I got to spend some quality time at the kitchen sink yesterday. Not my idea of a FUN Halloween project but necessary since I store them in the attic off season. This is going to be the beverage station lined with grave stones...gives it that lovely homey feeling of a crypt, don't you think?

Center piece for the Bunco party ( hence the 2 on the grave stone for table 2)

simple lighting decoration. Draping things is my favorite!

Close up of center piece.

Well today I make cakes and cookies and shop for all the ingredient for tomorrow. The upstairs will be cleaned just in case there is a party guest that winds up going upstairs for the other bathroom... Again not my favorite Halloween projects but necessary... Well maybe I should just dim the lighting a bit more... ROFL!

CREATURES CRAWL FROM EVERY TOMB...

I've learned one thing from Halloween decorating, DON'T THROW ANYTHING AWAY! I was able to use a lot of different things to build my ghouls. I now have a god use for all the girls out grown dress-up clothes... ROFL!

Dirt-Nap Den and Other Frights

these tombstones are just FUN. they are lighted and animated.

This is my horrible giant spider. No wonder I have a spider web problem!

Pen & guest book added all ready for our victims ...errr, I mean friends...

Pringles can makes a great vase. I just spray painted the flowers to go in it. They'll add the perfect height.

Black Rose wreath

Easy inexpensive project. I just bought a small floral form at the Dollar store, a bunch of rose, and a can of black spray paint. The whole project took about 15 minutes. I left some red peeking through I liked the effect.

Haunting the John....

Skull wreath is my project for today! It was very inexpensive for all the frugal haunters out there! The wreath and 2 bags of mini skulls came from the Dollar Store. I invested all of $3. The white fabric was a old sheet I've been ripping up for various projects.

CLOSE UP

shower curtain from Target

That ghoul on the wall will dance and go off every time a guest goes into that bathroom during the party... I sure the first person will be surprised (evil laugh)

Gee, did I scare the "crap" out of you?

I had a SPOOKtatular time assembling the item and decorating the bathroom!
