MAKING A SMILODON SKULL

this is as far as I've gotten. Cut out the eyes and nose and covered with news paper and white glue. It has to dry then I'll be painting it off white with yellow brown in the mix.

First I covered bent coat hangers with white duc-tape. My brother Andy made the AWESOME fangs for me.

THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS....

I am now working on some new and horrifying projects. Snake in jar anyone? I am loving the expanding snakes! Just add water and WOW! Love. love the effect!

Trial run on Halloween Baking

Wilton makes a skull cake pan now! This is my first try at using it. I covered it with a very light layer of butter cream then fondant. buying Black icing is much easier than trying to make it. you wind up adding too much coloring only to have it charcoal gray and tasting like food coloring. NOT GOOD!
I'm not finished with this cake yet I'm adding grass and a gummy snake for added creepy factor.

This is my attempt to copy the Werewolf cupcakes from the book HELLO, CUPCAKE
